Olá pessoasss..
Pensei em escrever esse blog, para manter minha família e meus amigos informados sobre minhas aventuras nos Países Baixos e na Europa.
Para o primeiro post, vou contar um pouco do que está acontecendo agora.
A ideia de me tornar au pair, paira sobre a minha cabeça há um bom tempo. Pesquisei muito até finalmente me decidir pela Holanda. Fiz perfis em alguns sites e depois de alguns meses sem conseguir nada, resolvi me inscrever numa agência, na esperança de encontrar uma host family mais facilmente. A agência até me indicou uma família, depois de muito tempo, mas não deu certo e eu estava prestes a desistir do meu sonho.
Esperei tanto por esse dia, e quando eu pensava que não fosse mais possível, finalmente está acontecendo. Na verdade, ainda não caiu a ficha e acho que só cairá quando eu estiver dentro do avião, prestes a pousar em Terras Holandesas.
Há quase duas semanas, eu encontrei uma família no site Au Pair World e depois de ler o perfil carinhoso deles, resolvi mandar uma mensagem. Algumas horas depois, a host mom me respondeu e depois de alguns e-mails e um skype de quinze minutos, finalmente...match!!!

Estou muito muito muito feliz! Na próxima semana, eles provavelmente darão entrada no visto e em setembro estarei embarcando. =) . Estou mega ansiosa e nem sei o que pensar e como começar a me organizar, mas aos poucos eu vou descobrindo.

I thought about writing this blog, to keep my family and friends informed about my adventures in The Netherlands and Europe.
For the first post, I am gonna tell about what is happening right now.
The idea of being an au pair, has been hovering over my head for a long time. I searched a lot till finally decided for Holland. I made profiles on some sites and after a few months without success, I registered with an agency, with the hope to find a host family more easily. The agency introduced me to a family, but it didn't work out and I was about to give up on my dream.
I waited so long for this day and when I began to think it would never happen, finally it is happening right now. Actually, I still cannot believe and I think I will only believe it when I am on the plane, about to land in Dutch soil.
About two weeks ago, I found a family on the Au Pair World site and after reading their caring profile, I decided to send a message. Later, the host mom replied and after changing some emails and skyping for about fifteen minutes, finally.. match!!!
I am so so so happy! Next week, they probably will start arranging the visa and in September, I am going to board. =) . I am very anxious and I don't know what to think and how to start organizing everything, but gradually, I will figure it out.
